Hoopfest Basketball is a national series of high school basketball events that showcases elite programs and top-ranked players from across the country. The crown jewel of the series is Thanksgiving Hoopfest, a premier showcase held annually on the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving that consistently features powerhouse matchups and future college and NBA talent. Known for its high-energy atmosphere and top-tier competition, it has become a must-attend event for scouts, coaches, media, and fans.

The Hoopfest brand demands elite visual content. I recruited the very best to keep followers engaged and up-to-date with everything happening on the court and in the arena at Hoopfest Basketball events.
THE HOOPFEST BRAND GOES INTERNATIONAL
Glenn Smith, the founder of Hoopfest Basketball, bet on himself and his ambitious work ethic to bring the nation’s best high school basketball showcase to the international stage. "Hoopfest in Paradise” was made a reality in 2022, flying some of the best talent in the United States and Canada to Nassau, Bahamas to compete inside the historic Kendall G. L. Isaacs National Gym.
FreeKeyThree handled creative content and social media strategy/management on site in the Bahamas for its first three years. Portraits, graphics, videos, recaps, storytelling—you name it, we did it!
In 2023, Hoopfest welcomed Bimini, Bahamas-native VJ Edgecombe for the first time in his high school career to play in his home nation. Local and national media covered the star’s homecoming games. The national standout and Baylor basketball alumni went on to be drafted third overall in the 2024 NBA draft.
